Emoticon invades Japanese life
Many people has using cellphone as the number one source of communication of all nations. By means of evolution of texting, the people develop some other option just to add more fun and enjoyment on conversation. And then there was emoticon. In Japan, they called this a Kaomoji, a very similar to emoji of the west which is using to express their personality in texting. As written in the history, the Emoticon was originally discovered in 1857 and popularized in 1970's. as the social media is widespread globaly, it's easily for japanese people to adapt these emoticons and made their own name for it.
